It was really a pleasure to work with pastor Mike Smith, staff, and a group of other marketing and design professionals from the church on this website! We launched the new Vista site on the one-year anniversary of the launch of this new church plant. It was also nice to watch this body of believers grow from my home church and get to be part of this exciting new year. The basics are in place for a functional site, but I am sure we will be adding more as time goes on. God has given the staff some great vision on how to use technology to make a local and global impact!

My brother-in-law Daniel is the youth pastor of this church in Columbia, SC and got me hooked up with the staff in an effort to overhaul their current site design and content management. Enjoyed training their staff on how to update the site (from hours away via Skype voice chat). Thanks to Daniel and the rest of the staff!

I was able to build new and strengthen old friendships with the staff at this local church through helping them with the vision and creation of a new web presence. They were excited to finally be able to easily update the website themselves, while also knowing that I was on their side if they needed advice or advanced design training. You'll also see the HSMPowell.com and TheZone (coming soon) websites in my portfolio, which are their high school and middle school ministries. The sites flow pretty well together, with navigation available at the top right of each to flip back and forth between the church and these ministries. Thanks to the staff for their friendship and allowing God to use my talents!

I've been a fan of the 3-time Dove Award winner and songwriter, KJ-52, for quite some time. KJ doesn't shy away from getting deep and real with his lyrics, and reaches teens where they are at with the message God wants them to hear through his rhymes. Most musicians these days shy away from understanding where their audience is coming from. I count it an honor that God has given me the privilege of working together with KJ on the new site, and providing a design that parallels his most recent album, The Yearbook (buy on iTunes here ). Keep up the great work KJ - we'll be listening!
